Panther Pride

Ask Chandara No.12

By Chandara, Reporter

Recently an odd question was submitted during the school’s winter break by an anonymous student. The question submitted asked, “what is MoHi Panther Pride?” To me Panther Pride is the honor of being able represent my school through my actions and character. However, a student’s form of Panther Pride can vary from one to another. Instead of me usually going out on my own and answering submitted questions; I’ve decided to go out and search for other student’s with a form of Panther Pride. Gentry Edwards, a junior football player, states, “Panther Pride is the powerful connection that I have with other students that make us a family.” I was also able to come in contact with an ex-student of Modesto High who had to transfer schools. Dafne Palma, a student with a deep love for Modesto High, states that Panther Pride are the students themselves. She says, “the students are hard working, are always willing to lend a hand to help and are what makes the school so great.” Panther Pride is a very important part of Modesto High and each student will have their unique idea of it.
