Springing Into Break… But What Do We Do?

By Breanna Donnelly, Reporter

For the next week Modesto High School, and the rest of Modesto City Schools, will be on it’s Spring Break. Now many of the students at Modesto High School may be wondering what to do during their time off. Personally, video games are a very good option, but what if you want to go outside of that spectrum. There are many events in the area that will be taking place during this incoming week.

One of these said events, is the “Stop the Bleed,” which is occurring on March 31st at different session times. At this event, people will be able to learn how to give basic bandages for different situations as needed. It is aimed towards teenagers, and they encourage as many people to register as possible and it is completely free!

Another fun, but more expensive option, for those who like puzzles, is the Escape Room in Modesto. They have three different puzzle rooms, ranging from a 9% chance escape rate to a 28% chance escape rate.

Other than these options, which are uncommon and limited here in our area, there are also other local things that you can go do during your break, such as bowling at McHenry Bowl, going to the movies at Galaxy Theatre in Riverbank, or hanging out for a day at the Livermore Outlets! This week is set up to be sunny and relatively warm, so it is important for all of the students at Modesto High to have as much fun as they can on their spring break!
