Keigan, meaning “little fire”, is a former Freshman at Modesto High School. As a remainder of her weekly time is usually spent at school, Keigan enjoys writing short stories, and poetry. Her love and passion for writing is so strong, that she hopes to one day publish a series of her writings, and hopes to have a positive influence on numerous people. Although she has a passion for writing, Keigan has always had a passion for helping people, which is why her dream is to become a psychologist. She hopes that her choice of profession will help her establish a helpful and safe environment for people to get through their trials and tribulations without having to deal with them by themselves. Along with being in school for five days a week, Keigan is also involved in water polo. This is the very first time she has ever played. She loves the feeling of attempting new challenges, and being capable of completing them with her best efforts. In her previous school years, Keigan had been involved in orchestra for eight years. But despite the feeling of wanting to continue to play in high school, she decided that she’d rather further her writing skills in journalism rather than further her playing skills in orchestra.
