Mango Salsa

Getting a bit bored of topping guacamole on everything? I personally believe you could never go wrong with some guac. However, I recently tried mango salsa and was swayed. This salsa is the perfect amount of fresh to a heavy meal! Also the best part, it makes your dish colorful. It goes great in a salad, tacos, or simply with tortilla chips.

Ingredients

  • 3 ripe mangos, diced
  • 1 medium red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped red onion
  • 1/4 cup packed fresh cilantro leaves, chopped
  • 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced
  • 1 large lime, juiced (about 1-4 cup lime juice)
  • 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon salt, to taste

 

Instructions

  1. In a serving bowl, combine prepared mango, bell pepper, onion, cilantro and jalapeño. Drizzle with the juice of one lime and miz well. Season to taste with salt.
