NFL Quarterbacks

By Rohin, Reporter

In recent weeks, there have been a lot of quarterback situations for different NFL teams. First, I will talk about the quarterback situation in Minnesota. Case Keenum, who is the backup quarterback for the Vikings has carried the team to be 9-2. With the Vikings starting quarterback healthy (Terry Bridgewater), the head coach of the team decided to stick with Case Keenum because he has improved the team with his efforts. The Oakland Raiders are benching quarterback Eli Manning, and Geno Smith will start this weekend against the Oakland Raiders. Eli Manning who is their veteran quarterback is being benched for his poor performance this season, in which the Giants are 2-9. Manning shouldn’t shoulder all the blame for the team losing so many games because the team has lost many star players including Odell Beckham Jr and other players. Manning has started 210 consecutive regular-season games for the Giants. Manning not playing this week will end his streak for the second-longest streak in NFL history as a starting quarterback. The Niners will finally start their star quarterback Jimmy Gorrapolo after CJ Beathard received a hip/leg injury. The Niners recently acquired Jimmy Gorrapolo from a trade with the New England Patriots. Hopefully, these quarterbacks are able to perform well this week.
